Our Player Of The Week section features those players who have outstanding contributions on the pitch in real life. We will not only attempt to recreate what we see on the field, we also review the player himself, and let you know what outstanding attributes each Player Of The Week possesses.

Robin van Persie

Arsenal Striker Robin van Persie scored twice over the weekend, including one goal within a minute of the whistle.

Another goal, the deciding goal, came later in the match. On a free kick, the striker scored a highlight goal, curling the ball into the top right corner of the net.

Kevin-Prince Boateng

In the match versus Lecce, Kevin-Prince Boateng came off the bench and sparked an epic comeback from down 3-0 to win 4-3 for Milan.

His hat trick in just 18 minutes is a stunning feat which featured two absolute strikes off one touches to the top corners of the net without even the slightest reaction from the netminder.

Neymar Santos

Neymar scored 4 goals for Santos in a 4-1 victory over Atletico PR.

Two of his four came via the penalty, but the fourth goal was finished wonderfully near post after a terrific run up the middle of the field and into the box while controlling the ball and evading defenders.

Gabriel Agbonlahor

Agbonlahor used his world class pace all game vs. Norwich City and simply tortured Kyle Naughton (full-back for Norwich).

His impressive one goal and two assist performance helped his chances with making England’s International squad and also was enough to lift Aston Villa past the Canaries.

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez came up large for the Uruguayan national team with four goals in the 4-0 rout over Chile.

Ttwo goals via his head and the other half from wonderfully placed shots from outside the 18.

Yakubu

Yakubu scored a bevy of goals for Blackburn Rovers in their Premier League match vs. Swansea City, four of them to be exact.

He scored two via his head, once off a penalty, and one laser from the top of the box which ended up upper 90 right below the woodwork and the far post.

Mathieu Valbuena

Mathieu Valbuena in the 87th minute scored a stunning goal to put Marseille through to the knock out stage.

He virtually undressed the Dortmund back line and finished with a lovely strike just out of the reach of the leaping goaltender.

Ronaldo

Ronaldo netted three goals vs. Sevilla to lead Real to a 6-2 victory. In the 41st minute Ronaldo struck the ball after one touch from about 32 yards out and found the back of the net.

The ball was struck with a blistering pace and finished upper ninety blazing past the goalies out stretched arms.
